Well, hello there! You already know that I'm a web designer -- that's why you're here! So I'll just skip the business talk and get a little more personal.

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and eventually went to college at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. I first entered the school as a computer science major and took over 50 credit-hours worth of classes in the computer science area ranging from computer programming to web design to database management to software engineering. The only thing I had a hard time with was deciding what else I wanted to study!

During my sophomore year, I decided to audition for the drama department's production of The Scottish Play. Surprisingly, I got cast! I was bitten by the theatre bug and decided that I wanted to learn as much as I could about theatre. I'd already taken all of the major classes in computer science, but the upper-level classes were in subjects that I didn't particularly care about. I mean, would you want to spend 3 hours a night, two nights per week talking about how to optimize how much time the CPU gets from each process? I didn't think so. So I switched my major to Drama but kept Computer Science as my minor. I graduated in December 2004.

I had always dabbled in web design ever since the early days of Geocities and Angelfire. I put it aside for other endeavors, but I kept coming back to web design. Over the years, I've adapted several different kinds of websites from a MySpace profile to a Wordpress blog to a high school ROTC site to a theatre portal for the Atlanta-metro area. I've created this portfolio site to show off my abilities and to let you know what I can do! Enjoy!
